Partly printed page and / or further pages missing by using PCL drivers

Problem:

A page is only printed partly and further pages in case of multilateral documents are missing. This happens only by using certified classic PCL drivers or PCL drivers of another manufacturer.

Reason:

Character combination in user´s document creates randomly the prescribe start command !R! in the printer data stream. Due to this the printer stops the PCL interpreter and waits for further prescribe commands and discards all other characters of the print file. After an automatically form feed the printer ejects an uncompleted page with the information it processed until then.

Solution:

- Use a currrent maybe not certified PCL classic driver. By this it is inhibited that a '!' will appear in the data of the print file by doing a true type download

or:

- Use KPDL classic driver

or:

- Use KX driver with PDL 'PCL XL' or 'KPDL'
