Can I print with DTP applications like PageMaker, Quark-Xpress, InDesign etc.?

Unlike the Office applications, the DTP programmes requires the “PostScript Printer Description file” (PPD) as they are based on Postscript.

The following steps are important:

1. The driver has to be set up correctly
2. The program has to be told that there is a PPD

As there is no uniform procedure for all the products we please check it in the application guides. The PPD files can be found on the driver CD, in a sub-Directory called “PPD”. This is applicable for the Windows as well as for the Mac environment.
